My action research topic as of: 7/24/11

This is the topic of my action research and my wonderings of inquiry:
In regards to the STAAR program:  We all know that this newly implemented state assessment is going to be more challenging for many teachers and students in terms of preparation, rigor, and time contingencies, and that students will still be faced with the monumental task of passing the test and improving their performance.
What actions are going to be taking place on my campus, related to preparing teachers, and their students who fall into the low-performing categories/subgroups, and those student's parents/guardians, in this drastic change?  How will our teachers prepare themselves to prepare those low-performing students for these tests?  What does central office, campus administration, department heads and their faculty, plan to do in regards to support, implement programs, change curriculum, address adjusting instructional delivery, and assess student learning processes throughout the year, that show proof that this group of students is "getting it" in terms of curriculum content/context, objectives, knowledge, and skills?
